Prior to joining Johnson & Lesley in 2020, Jerry served in myriad roles on construction sites throughout both South Carolina and Virginia, including managing numerous projects with budgets in excess of $10 million. He has supervised or managed the construction of schools, medical facilities, distribution centers, mines, hotels, apartments, subdivisions and roads, and he holds certifications from both the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA 46B & 48B) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Over the course of nearly three decades, Jerry has gained experience estimating, bidding and budgeting jobs, as well as operating everything from motor graders and excavators to rollers and water wagons. He is also proficient with engineering and surveying techniques and processes. At Johnson & Lesley, Jerry serves as a general superintendent/project manager and applies his expertise, in particular, to complex sites and larger jobs.
